Eastern Engineered Wood Products Celebrates Grand Opening at New Distribution Center in Keysville, VA

Representatives from state and local government, members of the Keysville community, and local customers joined Eastern Engineered Wood Products to celebrate the Grand Opening of its newest distribution Center.

Company representatives joined officials from the State of Virginia and Charlotte County in addressing the attendees.  The remarks were punctuated by the roar of a chainsaw as the “ribbon” – a massive, engineered wood beam – was cut!  Eastern’s team members then led small groups on a facility tour to showcase the operation.

The 32-acre site expands the company’s delivery footprint to new markets further west in Virginia and deeper into North Carolina.  It will also service customers in Northern Virginia and parts of Maryland. The new location is dedicated exclusively to the sale and distribution of Engineered Wood Products (EWP).  At full capacity, the company expects to provide up to twenty or more full-time jobs in Keysville and the surrounding area.
